Peter Stone - Karen Stone

After a thirty-six year career with a major Canadian financial institution, I succumbed to a long-standing yearning to pursue opportunities in freelance writing. In preparation for this transition, I had completed the Certificate in Creative Writing program at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario while still employed - an adventure that strengthened my resolve to be a writer. My primary areas of interest in writing are history (especially Canada, circa 1534 - 1800), biographies and business/finance.

My family and writing are my passions, but I also love reading, dogs and dog training, and a robust game of squash.
